A 148mm – 105mm Post Card created to welcome people to the University of Hull, showing them around the great work of Graphic Design.
The colour blue was chosen since the Velocity colour scheme does include the dark shade of blue, the lighter shade of blue was used to fall in with the blue scheme as well as blending with the white fill, grey stroke to make it stand out more.
The large bold, black ‘X’ was done to make sure that the title was the most noticeable area of the postcard, in able to attract my audience to the title of the postcard by making one letter stand out from the rest. ‘Velocity’ was written from the inside so that it was the second part of the title for the audience’s eyes to fall towards, light colours where used to make it bolder, as well as eye catching.
