Saudi Arabia Visit
Producing 2 social campaigns across platforms requires careful examination of the use of repeated images and repeated research that can often be mistaken. My website required me to collectively gather images from different parts of Saudi Arabia, in order to successfully complete my research on Islam in the extended depth required.

During my summer break, I was given the lifetime opportunity to visit Mecca which opened doors to a wide range of different other opportunities in expanding and developing my website plan. From taking tours around the city to listening and sharing knowledge together on our Beloved Prophet Mohammed PBUH, much more of my own knowledge has become so much more and supported my website in so many ways. Places visited during my stay:
- Mecca
- Madina Al’Manawara
- Jeddah
- Badr
- Taif
- Uhud
- Arafat

The images above were chosen specifically to present representations of the special places in Islam, and the important areas of worship that are highly valued within Islam. These places are all located in Saudi Arabia, not too far from each other, giving people the easy accessibility to get around and visit all places during their holiday.
Mecca, known to be one of the most sacred places and most attractive places in Saudi Arabia, was the most important image out of all for me to achieve. The beautiful black stone sits in the centre of the white flooring where thousands of Muslims walk around 7 times as part of a ritual to perform “Hajj”, the same way Prophet Mohammed PBUH did.
Extended research through books

The following books above are a couple of examples of books I had collected to read and do research for my website. Aligning the same knowledge that was gained during my visit to also be backed and confirmed through the following books gives me confirmation that the correct information was achieved and that all research was carefully checked and analysed before presenting to my audience.
Book number one was my best option to my opinion, helping me gain even more knowledge of Islam as well as ideas for designing and structuring my menu layout.
