Team-working Evidence

Still Animation

Still, animation was created in a group with myself, Abbie and Karolina.

The video above shows a small short video of a creation called “The Sting of Love”. The storyline is based on betrayal between two couples, as they later on in the video go ahead and show aggression, and ends later in the tragic death of the character named Bob. Our female character is named Clair.

Between, Karolina and Abbie, each played a role in making the video successful. My job was to make sure that Bob was moving in the correct way through every scene, Karolina’s role was to make sure Clair was moving, in the same way, Bob was moving when she needed to, and finally, Abbie’s role was to make sure the camera was rolling and pausing when it was needed. Together the video was created, and I played the role of editing the final creation to perfection.

Achievement

As this project was done in a group, a lot of communication between us all was done in order to get the video created. I learned to play my role successfully whilst adjusting to other people’s ideas and thoughts throughout making the video. We all brought our ideas together and kept all of our thoughts open throughout.

Further, in making the video, I learnt more about my classmates and how they think, we created a great bond with one another and take the project with ease. I did not at any point find it difficult to communicate and each of us was lovely when adding in and bringing in more ways to improve our work.

Improvement

To make our video a lot better, I would have recommended that we add a green screen to later alter the background and make the video more attractive. Having a background would have further added to the scene and made the short stop-motion video look better.

Another bit of improvement I’d give towards this video is for Abbie to have waited until I moved my hand and then clicked play on the video, this would have made the clip more efficient and look a lot better when taking shots in between without my hand getting stuck in the middle, which later made it difficult to edit out.
