Israel & Palestine
To help give me a further understanding of the Palestine and Israel conflict, I took the time out of my day to visit a protest in town that was being helped by an organisation named Hull Communists. This community is run to help world problems such as the war in Palestine, and other current world crises like global warming, and political issues, and they try to make a difference when it comes to politicians and standing against the Government.
The community had books out on a stall that go into a more detailed explanation of the Palestine and Israel conflict, one book in particular that caught my eye, is “Israel-Palestine A Revolutionary Way Forward” which shows a start to present detailed timeline on the on-going conflict, as well as a way to help move forward and how as a community they can grow ways to help and stand/save Palestine.
On Saturday 28th, it was just one of the couple protests this community has held to gain a larger community of people and spread awareness on the Palestine problem. To get attention and spread the word, they shared posts on their Instagram page displaying the time and place of the next Public Protest. Protests have also been successful in other parts of the UK to show their support for Palestine and to stand against Rishi Sunak’s allegations of “standing with Israel” which is FALSE.

90.82 USD deduction with Starbucks
To take things even further, the internet has gathered people to ‘boycott’ businesses that give their money to charities that support Israel, stopping them from giving them blood money to keep killing innocent lives. Businesses that have been boycotted are McDonald’s, Starbucks and Disney+, which all give their money to organisations that support Israel.
To show even further support from social media platforms, influencers and famous stars who support Palestine have been changing their profile pictures to a photo that represents Palestine, whilst posting continuously about the ongoing problem, using their platform for the greater good against their government.
