Effectively using Software’s
Due to my current knowledge of the applications below, I was more advanced using Adobe Substance Stager, rather than using Autodesk Maya. I had used Maya before with experience but had not yet become too comfortable with it, so another challenge I faced was the time consumption it took me to learn how to draw out the Palm map in Maya, and then turn it into 3D.

Once this was accomplished, I exported the Palm and imported it to Adobe Substances, which then gave me access to many materials, colours and shading textures to design all my assets and my map. Making sure the sea was blue, and the land was green, I kept my design very simple as I no longer had the challenge of tackling the shadings to the beach for this map design.

Substances were the most effective app I used when it came to editing my assets and my world. A lot of the Sketch Fab assets had a lot of unwanted materials that were grouped with the assets that I needed, so Susbatances gave me the accessibility to delete those unwanted assets and be able to upload them easily without hassle.
Although Substances was my most effectively overused app, using Maya to draw out my Palm map from Google was the most important step out of all the milestones that were set to be achieved. Without the Palm, the Jumeriah land would simply not be complete and would have a very big part of it missing, but did use quite a lot of my time to complete it. However, even with its complicity, the outcome in the end was worth the time and the map turned out perfectly and exactly how I had drawn it to be.
