FR GLOSSES is a small business I had started around 2 years ago back, the following resources and information are original and were done by my own work. FR GLOSSES purpose falls within the beauty industry, and as a female myself, I know every women’s struggle to find their perfect lip gloss match. I had done my own research on how glosses were made, how they were created to their performance and how to improve? how to make these glosses unique. This business is no longer running due to my personal priority towards my studies.
I created the banner above using Adobe Illustrator, using blocks and shadings to give the banner a real graphical effect. Either side of the banner includes FR GLOSSES’s products that were created throughout the business to promote the created products. The diamonds are represented through the images taken of the glosses, showing the shimmer and glistering effect my glosses produce.
This advertisement’s purpose relates to the latest ‘Black Friday’ sales, giving why my choices are of the dark colours, the dark shades of red. Not only does it match the gloss I created to the left side of this banner, but as most advertisement on ‘Black Friday’ are known to be Black with any colour the business relates, red only seemed the perfect option to do my banner. In addition, it’s leading to the Christmas times, which my glosses can be the perfect gift.
XD – FR GLOSSES Application
To make this campaign a little more successful, I went ahead and created the application to further verify and show my user’s (customers) that theres quicker ways to access information on the go. The app was created to help my user’s have a better experience and comfort feeling when visiting the business page.



Pages throughout the app show an easy flow of the following pages providing different important pieces of information a user would want to check and get clarification before purchasing. This includes a introduction page (home page), a about page (further introduction page), the products page to show the availability to this business, a quiz for the owner of the business to get feedback from their user’s for later improvements to business, a contact’s page for any concerns or problems a user may want to the owner to be aware of, and finally the discount page to back up the discount advertisement previously made, and can be seen at the bottom of every page throughout the app.
My main focus through this campaign is to make the discount page as successful as possible, allowing my user’s to have the best features available just beneath their fingertips. The discount page allows a hover over feature which should update a new code every day to a user to access when purchasing a gloss.
The same colour scheme was used throughout the pages on this app to match the banner. Having a consistent design across your business keeps a familiar eye to a user, and allows the user to quickly identify your website when compared to a possibly fake page. The same shapes and panels are used through all of my designs, along with the information that was taken from my website, onto my app to keep the same information everywhere.
