At any time of your day, where you are or whoever you are with, there’s always a story being told. In the world we live in today that’s filled with many different laws and rights, there’s nothing more to say besides that we’re only humans. The images that I’ve used today describe society and how the stories put together are people’s lives.

The images above show a simple sequence of how the journey for some people can be a lot easier than it is for others. Each image holds its own story of how the world continues to grow around us, developing in ways that should be changed. How women can sometimes be downgraded because they’re told it’s a “Men’s” job. The story presents each difficulty in its unique way, this can be regarding money, treating women differently from men, and how simple steps for men become a complex step for women when it comes to topics such as “business”.

The second image of sequences tells a short story about how global warming is becoming a more significant issue than we think. Figure one represents the importance of our trees, and how we need them to stay alive since they produce the oxygen we need to live, which then folds over to the second image and how they have become a lot less throughout the years. Because of business and jobs, more people buy land and clear out the trees to build businesses, which takes us to our third image on how the earth without trees only becomes water, and even water has become a global problem since ice caps continue to melt and drown the earth.
Finally, these images tell a story of how parenting can put a high effect on children, how they understand and take small comments, over-hearing and extended issues that come with private problems. Figure own shows how once the bond between two loved parents breaks, it can leave a thin string holding the child/children together, but it also can be seen how kids can sometimes bring that bond back together. Figure two is shown through its shadow, how children may not always have to be visible visually, but through their parent’s shadow, they can carry and follow those problems, which leads us to figure three on how mistaken comments get told through ‘private problems’ are mistakenly over-heard by these kids can affect them later to the future and how deeply hurt they can be because of what they hear.

My story is shown through my religion. I picked the first image to show where the start of my story and where Islam began. The Quran book is read and used as one’s guidance, Muslims read to understand and educate themselves more about the life they’ve been given, and educate themselves through the mistakes they make from being kids up until they die. This moves me to my second image, it includes a picture of what’s called a ‘Sibha’, which can often look like a necklace from some angles, some are designed as a bracelet, but also links to the Quran and how the Sibha is used for a Muslims source of comfort, how they use this Sibha for their everyday life. It can also be looked at as a source of short prayers, which takes me to my third image of the prayer mat Muslims use to pray their 5 daily prayers. These 5 daily prayers are highly important to a Muslim and how to support them the same way the Quran would.
